Center, Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) signs HB1030, sponsored by Del. Mark Sickles (D-43), and HB1223, sponsored by Del. Vivian Watts (D-39), into law on May 24 at the Fairfax County Government Center. “I want to make sure that all eligible voters in our Commonwealth can participate in our democracy,” McAuliffe said. “That’s why today I’m signing two bills that provide concrete measures to ensure that our election system is serving everyone by reducing confusion and other problems that can occur at the polls.”
